Rail to/from Limerick

Limerick-Colbert station is located 5 minutes' walk from Limerick City Centre. The only other station in Co Limerick is at Castleconnell.

From Limerick-Colbert station, there are rail services to Dublin, Ennis, Rosslare, Waterford, Cork, and Kerry.

Getting to Limerick by Sea

The nearest port to Limerick is the Port of Cork, in Co Cork, which operates seasonal services to Britain and France. The other main ports are Rosslare in Co Wexford, and Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire, in Co Dublin.

Limerick is located quite close to Ireland's transatlantic airport, Shannon Airport. Scheduled services are operated by major Irish and International airlines from and to Boston, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles, with one-stop connections from most other major US cities. Regular scheduled flights operate from Dublin, London and Paris to Shannon, as well as a selection of other UK and continental Europe cities.
